This process consists or a pressing a sheet very tightly against 2 patterned metal plates which molds to the surface of the sheet. The end result of this ‘pressing’ is that parts of the surface of the sheet become raised and protrude from the remainder of the card. The raised area is an imprint left by the metal pressing plates and is ideal for logos, text and graphics and gives a touch of elegance to your printed products.
